Fees and trading costs
The Tradyn fee
1% of each trade. No subscription, nothing else.
The fee is paid inside the swap transaction itself: there is no swap without its fee and no fee without its swap. If a swap fails, nothing is taken. The fee is always paid in SOL.
- On a buy: 1% of the amount. A 1 SOL buy pays 0.01 SOL, and 0.99 SOL is swapped for the coin.
- On a sell: 1% of the SOL the sale brings back, paid from what it brings back.
A bot keeps the fee rate that applied when you launched it.
25% of every fee comes back to you as cashback, and the friends you invite earn you 20% of theirs. See Cashback and referrals.
Tradyn charges nothing on deposits, withdrawals or reward claims: only Solana's network fee applies to them.
The other costs of a trade
These aren't Tradyn's, but every trade on Solana pays them:
| Cost | Paid to | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Pool fees | The coin's liquidity pools | Each pool charges a fee on every swap. |
| Price impact | The market | Your own trade moves the price, more so in a thin pool. |
| Token tax | The coin's issuer | Only for coins with a transfer tax (Token-2022). |
| Network fee | Solana validators | A tiny fee per transaction, plus a small tip that gets the swap landed privately through Jito. |
Round trip cost
The round trip cost is what a buy plus a sell costs, all included: the Tradyn fee both ways, pool fees, price impact, token tax and network fees. It's your break-even: a bot only earns when the price moves more than this between its buy and its sell.
Tradyn measures it live on each coin, by quoting a buy then a sell on the coin's actual route at your bot's trade size. The coin's page shows what one trade costs, before you launch: a round trip pays it twice.
| Line | Example |
|---|---|
| Trading costs, the total | 1.21% per trade |
| Tradyn fee | 1% per trade |
| Pool fees and price impact | 0.21% per trade |
| Token tax, included above | Only for taxed coins |
| Network | ≈ 0.00003 SOL per trade |
The figures above are only an example: they depend on the coin, its liquidity and your trade size. The page also shows the route the trades take, for example Route: Raydium.
Why it matters
With a 1% fee on the buy and on the sell, a round trip always costs at least 2%. On a coin where it costs 2.5%, a strategy that sells 2% above its buy loses money on every trade. Tradyn's presets always set their targets above the measured round trip cost.
Running bots re-measure their coin's costs every 5 minutes. Demo bots and the replay pay the same measured costs, virtually.
