Follow and stop a bot
Your bots are listed on Bots (filter Active, Stopped or All) and on your Portfolio. Click one to open its page.
Statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Funding | Real bots only: its budget is moving from your wallet to the bot's wallet. |
| Running | Watching the market and trading. |
| Paused | Doing nothing until it's resumed: no buys, no sales. |
| Closing | Selling what it holds and returning its SOL. |
| Stopped | Done. Its final result stays on its page. |
| Needs attention | Paused after repeated failures or an error. The reason shows next to the status. |
The bot's page
The header shows the bot's name, Demo or Real SOL, its strategy and risk level, its status and the reason for it, and a link to the coin's page. Live from Raydium (or another pool) means its prices stream straight from the coin's pool.
The chart shows the price with the bot's order levels and trades. Switch between Line and Candles, and between 1m, 5m, 15m and 1h.
The price above the chart, the chart's last candle, and the position's value and P&L follow the coin's price as the bot sees it, up to once a second.
What the bot waits for: above the chart, a running Dip Sniper, Momentum Rider or DCA Scalper (or a custom one) says what makes it trade next, each price followed by how far the current price is from it:
| Line | When |
|---|---|
| Buys if the price drops to … | A Dip Sniper waiting for its dip: the highest price of its lookback, less the drop it buys. |
| Buys if the price rises to … | A Momentum Rider waiting for its breakout: the lowest price of its lookback, plus the rise it buys. |
| Sells at … (target) or … (stop) | A trade in progress: its take-profit, never under break-even, and the stop that sells first if the price falls: the stop-loss, the break-even stop once armed, or the trailing stop once the trailing take-profit has started. |
| Starts trailing the price at … | Where the trailing take-profit starts following the price. |
| Buys more at … | A DCA Scalper's next safety buy. |
| Sells by … at the latest | The trade's time limit. |
| Next cycle in … | The pause between two trades. |
The chart draws the same prices as dashed lines (Entry, TP, SL, Break-even, Trailing, DCA 1, DCA 2…), with Avg, the trade's average buy price. A grid draws its ladder of steps instead.
The position panel:
| Line | Meaning |
|---|---|
| P&L | The bot's result so far, in % of its budget and in SOL, every fee included. |
| Value | What the bot holds now: its SOL plus its coins at the current price. |
| Invested | Its budget. |
| Realized | Profit or loss of the trades it closed. |
| Unrealized | Profit or loss on the coins it still holds, at the current price. |
| Holding | Coins held. |
| Cash | SOL held. |
| Trades | Trades made, and the share that closed in profit. |
| Fees paid | Tradyn fees plus network fees. |
| Running for | Time since it started. |
Tabs:
- Trades: each trade with its reason, price, amount, the P&L of each sale (fees included), its fee and a link to the transaction on Solscan.
- Activity: the bot's live events while you have the page open (position opened, trade failed and retrying, and so on).
- Details: the coin's address, the bot's wallet (real bots, with a link to Solscan), its holdings, volume, effective fee rate and creation date.
Trade reasons
| Reason | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Entry | A scalper opened a position. |
| Grid buy / Grid sell | A grid step bought or sold. |
| Safety buy 1, 2… | A DCA bot added a slice. |
| Take-profit | Sold at its target. |
| Trailing exit | Sold when the price fell back from its peak. |
| Break-even exit | Sold by the break-even stop. |
| Stop-loss | Sold at the trade's stop. |
| Grid stop | Sold everything under the grid's range. |
| Time limit | Closed after the trade's time limit. |
| Closed | Sold when the bot was stopped. |
Pause and resume
Pause stops all trading: the bot keeps what it holds and does nothing, not even if the price crashes. Resume picks up where it left off. Resuming a real bot needs a recent sign-in, like launching one.
A paused bot can still be stopped, which sells its coins.
Take profits
A bot never reinvests its gains: its orders are sized from its budget, so what its trades make beyond it is set aside in its wallet, in SOL, and the bot keeps trading with its budget. On a real bot's page, the Position card shows these Profits set aside.
Press Take profits and confirm the amount in Take profits? to send them to your main wallet while the bot keeps trading:
- What is sent: what the bot's trades made beyond its budget, every fee included, less what you took before. The transfer's network fee (about 0.000005 SOL) comes out of it, and nothing is sent under 0.001 SOL.
- When: right away, or as soon as a trade on its way has gone through. The button reads On its way meanwhile, and the bot's Activity tab says when the SOL has arrived. Your Wallet lists it as Profits taken in its transfers.
- Your P&L keeps them: profits you take still count in the bot's result, less the transfer's network fee. Its Value, what it holds now, goes down by what left its wallet.
Real bots only: demo bots trade virtual SOL. When you stop a bot, whatever is left comes back anyway.
Stop
Press Stop, then Stop and sell in Stop this bot?. The bot shows Closing while it:
- sells everything it holds at market price,
- for a real bot, closes its token account (its small rent deposit comes back) and returns all its SOL to your main wallet.
Then it shows Stopped. Your SOL is back in your wallet, ready for another bot or a withdrawal.
If a coin can't be sold
The bot tries to sell three times. If the coin still can't be sold (no liquidity left, transfers frozen…), the bot returns its SOL anyway and the unsold coins stay in its wallet. The reason says some tokens could not be sold and stay in the bot wallet. You can reach them by exporting your recovery phrase.
When a bot stops or pauses on its own
- Its max loss is reached: it stops and returns its SOL.
- Its strategy ends: the grid's stop under its range, or the losing streak of a scalper. It stops and returns its SOL.
- Repeated failures: after 6 failed trades in a row, it pauses with Needs attention. Check the reason and the Activity tab, then Resume or Stop.
- Paused by the operator: Tradyn's team can pause a bot, or every bot during a trading pause.
Trading pause
Tradyn can pause all trading, for example during an incident. A notice then reads Trading is paused by the operator on every page, running bots are paused, and no bot can be launched or resumed. You can still stop any bot and withdraw your SOL at any time. When the pause is lifted, nothing restarts on its own: resume your bots yourself.
Archive
A stopped bot can be archived with Archive. It disappears from your lists, and its results no longer count in your Portfolio's totals.
