The replay
Before you launch, the coin's page replays your plan on the coin's real past prices. It runs the same strategy code as the bots, and charges every trade the coin's measured costs: the Tradyn fee, pool fees, price impact and network fees.
Pick a period
Use the 24h / 7d / 30d switch next to the result.
| Period | Candles replayed |
|---|---|
| 24h | 5-minute candles |
| 7d | 15-minute candles |
| 30d | 1-hour candles |
The plan itself always comes from the last 24 hours, like the bot you would launch now. Only the replay reaches further back.
A coin younger than the period is replayed over its whole history, and the title says so, for example This plan over its whole history (3 days).
Prices nobody could trade
A coin's price history records every swap its pool saw, and a few of them printed prices no bot could get: a swap of a few satoshis of WBTC, priced about 4% off the market by its rounding, or a wick from one big swap that the market took straight back. The replay leaves them out, so it doesn't fill trades a real bot never would.
A candle's high, low or close is cut back to where the candles around it opened and closed, two on each side, when it reaches further past them than all three of:
- 1%,
- ten times the coin's typical move there (the median open-to-close move of the 25 candles around),
- twice as far as those prices spread themselves.
Two closes in a row that reach that far are cut back together: a print can be the last swap of two minutes running.
A real move, even a sudden one, shows in where candles close and stays in the replay. The chart still shows the candles as the market recorded them: a wick there can cross one of your plan's lines with no trade on it.
Running bots leave these prices out too. A Dip Sniper measures its drop from the highest price of its lookback, a Momentum Rider its rise from the lowest. When a bot starts, or Tradyn restarts, that lookback begins with the coin's 1-minute candles of the last 4 hours, read the same way, the coin's live price counting as the close after the last one.
Read the result
- The result, in % and in SOL on your budget: what the trades made, every fee included, plus the cashback their fees would have given back to you, at your rate (a custom rate included). Cashback comes back only on bots trading real SOL, to claim in Rewards.
- From trades and Cashback: the two parts of the result. The trades' part counts every fee in full.
- Holding: what simply buying the coin at the start and keeping it would have done.
- Trades and Win rate: how many trades the plan made, and the share of them that closed in profit.
- Drawdown: the largest fall of the bot's value from a high point, during the period.
- Fees: what the trades paid, Tradyn fee and network fees together.
- The curve: the bot's value over the period, cashback included, next to a dashed line for holding the coin.
- On the chart: a green dot for each replayed buy and a red one for each sale, at the price it filled, and lines for the plan's orders.
- When the plan stops: the replay stops the plan where its bot would stop, after its losing trades in a row, at its max loss, or under a grid's stop-loss. A line under the result says on which day and why, Plan stopped marks the moment on the chart, and the curve stays flat from there to the end of the period.
The badge says Real costs included once the coin's costs are measured, Estimated costs until then.
What the replay can't tell you
- Past results don't predict future ones. A plan that worked over the last 24 hours can lose over the next ones.
- It sees less than a bot. Over 7 and 30 days it steps through 15-minute and hourly candles, while a running bot acts on every price.
- Real trades can fill worse. In a fast or thin market, a swap can fill at a worse price than the candle shows, or fail and be retried.
- Costs move. The replay uses the costs measured now, at your trade size. A coin's liquidity can change a lot in a day.
Use it to compare strategies and risk levels on a coin, and to spot plans that only trade at a loss once costs are counted. Not as a promise.
